How we develop our projects

Whitewall Solutions links the work methodology and the project phases with the Framework Agreement for the provision of services.

Methodology

At the beginning of the relationship with each client , Whitewall Solutions presents together with this Project Guide a Framework Contract for the Provision of Services.

This contract has the objective of collecting the global understanding between Whitewall Solutions and the client, in addition to the particular clauses of each service to provide.

As many annexes as services will be provided by Whitewall Solutions will be attached to the Master Agreement.

Whitewall Solutions requires the signing of the Master Agreement to start the project.

Once the provision of the service by Whitewall Solutions, the client may choose not to continue with the corresponding service for the next phase of the project.

Project phases

Fase 1 - Study and presentation of proposals

Study and presentation of proposals

In this phase the service of analysis and study of the information provided by the client is provided.

The objective is to propose to the client a minimum of three proposals for their choice.

These proposals contain the different components of the system, an approximation in costs (broken down into electronic design (hardware), software development, etc.) and an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each proposal.

In this phase the deliverables are the proposals prepared by Whitewall Solutions.

The client will choose the option that provides the greatest value, taking into account their knowledge of the market.

Once this phase is finished, the client can decide not to continue with Whitewall Solutions services or move on to the Proof of Concept phase.

Fase 2 - Proof of concept

Proof of concept

In this phase, the development service of one or more proofs of concept is provided (to be detailed in the corresponding Annex in the Framework Contract) based on the client's choice of one of the proposals previously presented by Whitewall Solutions .

To carry out this phase, requirements will be collected and reflected in a Scope Document that will have to be ratified by the client.

For this, the industrial design, electronic and mechanical design, software development for a functional proof of concept are carried out.

The proof of concept developed does not have to be manufactured with the final components of the product. The objective is to demonstrate the feasibility of the project and allow the client to collect more information from its users.

In this phase the deliverable is the agreed proof of concept.

Once this phase is finished, the client can decide not to continue with the services of Whitewall Solutions or move on to the Development and Design for Production phase.

Fase 3 - Design for production

Design for production

In this phase, the development service of the chosen proposal and the design for production is provided.

The objective is to deliver to the client a final product or a small production series (to be detailed in the corresponding Annex in the Framework Contract).

In that case, if an industrial design, electronic, mechanical design, software development is done for a functional and aesthetic prototype, the closest thing to the idea that the client has of his product. In this phase, the deliverables will depend on the agreement reached in the corresponding Annex in the Framework Contract:

- Delivery of prototype or small series and delivery of documentation related to the project.

- Delivery of documentation related to intellectual property for manufacturing without the services of Whitewall Solutions.

- Other options to be agreed.

Once this phase is finished, the client can decide not to continue with Whitewall Solutions services or move on to the Product Manufacturing and Supply phase.

Fase 4 - Manufacture and supply of products

Manufacture and supply of products

In this phase, the manufacturing and supply service of the products developed within the scope of the project is provided.

The objective is to deliver the products to the customer under purchase orders, already being final versions for the manufacture of hardware and software.

In the corresponding Annex in the Framework Contract, Whitewall Solutions and the client must agree on the minimum quantities per order, the annual quantities, prices, delivery times, qualities and service level agreements.

Prior to the production phase, Whitewall Solutions and the client will have agreed on the After-Sales Service.

The request for new versions of a product will imply the execution of a study, proof of concept or development service within the scope of the project.

Fase 5 - After-sale

After-sale

In this phase, the after-sales service related to the product delivered to the client is provided.

The after-sales service agreed with the client in the corresponding Annex in the Framework Agreement may refer to both the software and the hardware resulting from the development project.

The conditions of technical support will be detailed, whether it is on hardware or software, of the delivered product as well as the level of service.

Likewise, the support time of the software service (if any) will be agreed upon.

In general, the changes or improvements proposed by the client during the project or after its completion will be managed as a Change Request (CR).

Once Whitewall Solutions receives the CR template, it studies the case and responds with an evaluation of time and cost. If the client approves it, the changes will be made.
